Oral Surgeon Dr. Brian L. Royse, DDS


Dr. Royse graduated with honors from Northwestern University in Chicago, receiving his D.D.S. degree in 1985. From 1985 to 1990 he completed an internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he received extensive training in orthognathic and reconstructive jaw surgery. He then participated as a clinical instructor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for both Michael Reese and Northwestern University residency programs, while maintaining a private practice in full-scope oral surgery.

Dr. Royse has been practicing in California since 1992. After successfully practicing as a senior partner in Midtown Sacramento with Sacramento Oral Surgery for 18 years, he established his full-scope private practice in Davis, California in May of 2010. He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor in Otolaryngology at University of California Davis Medical Center. This affiliation involves the Cleft Lip and Palate team, which has developed many advanced surgical techniques and procedures. He maintains hospital privileges at Mercy General Hospital and UC Davis Hospital in Sacramento.
